Power Outages Now Affecting Thousands in Fremont, Union City, Newark

FREMONT, CA — More than 10,000 Tri-City PG&E customers are without power right now, and most of the outages are so new that crews haven't arrived on scene to repair the damage.

There is no estimate of when the new outages will be repaired.

Earlier, multiple power outages in Fremont knocked out electricity to hundreds of residents. The largest of those outages are along Paseo Padre Parkway south of Highway 24; an area near Highway 84 and Fremont Boulevard; and along Decoto Road near Fremont Boulevard.

In addition, There are several smaller pockets of outages.

PG&E hopes to have the earlier outages repaired sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight.
