RV, Car Destroyed In Fremont Freeway Fire
The Fremont Fire Department released photos of the fire, which caused a major backup.

FREMONT, CA — A large recreational vehicle and the car it was towing were a total loss Wednesday afternoon when they caught fire on Interstate Highway 880 at Stevenson Boulevard, according to the Fremont Fire Department which released photos of the aftermath on Thursday.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters contained the fire to the RV and car, preventing it from spreading to nearby vegetation.

The fire was reported at 12:25 p.m. and backed up southbound traffic for several hours.
