Smart Turkey Pays Visit After Thanksgiving

FREMONT, CA –A very wise rafter of about a dozen turkeys recently wandered into the Ardenwood-area backyard of Fremont resident Arup Kumar De. And we say "wise" as they waited until Thanksgiving had passed, making their appearance on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The image of one is a true stunner, and photographer Arup did want readers to know the vibrant reddish-orange background is a blurring of fall colors ... not the glow of a roasting oven!
