Storm-Related Road Closures In Fremont Area

Landslides are continuing on Monday as the ground remains saturated.

FREMONT, CA — The Fremont Police Department advises that the following road closures are in effect —

  • The Sullivan Underpass between Niles Blvd. and Mission Blvd. is closed due to mud and debris interfering with the pump system.
  • The Old Canyon Road crossing of Alameda Creek, the Stanley Bridge, between Sycamore Street and Paradise Dive. is temporarily closed due to erosion at the bridge foundation.
  • Mill Creek Road is closed east of Mission Boulevard due to muddy conditions from additional debris flows which occurred over the weekend.
  • Niles Canyon Road, State Hwy. 84, remains closed due to a mudslide.
  • Morrison Canyon Road remains closed due to debris flows and flooding.
