Pedestrian Killed In Fremont

FREMONT, CA — A pedestrian was killed on Mission Boulevard in Fremont Thursday night, prompting a sig-alert from the CHP and a warning from Fremont Police to avoid the I-880 on-ramp from Mission Boulevard. All westbound lanes of Mission are closed because of the crash at Mission and Warm Springs boulevards.

There is no information on the victim, who was hit by two vehicles around 7:30 p.m., according to preliminary information from the CHP log.

Alternate route: instead of the Mission Boulevard on-ramp, use the Warren Avenue on-ramp to I-880. Accessed it by traveling just a quarter mile south on Mission Boulevard.
