Overturned Car Cleared From I-680 In Fremont

FREMONT, CA — Traffic from the Tri-Valley into Silicon Valley was at a standstill at times Friday morning, following a rollover accident on I-680 in Fremont. The crash involved a big rig and two other vehicles, according to the preliminary CHP log.

The crash was first reported around 7:55 a.m. just south of Andrade, and was blocking the left lane. A car was on its roof, forcing crews at the scene to wait for a tow truck to move it out of traffic.

Expect residual slowing for the remainder of the commute.
