SANTA CLARA, CA - Super Bowl Sunday is here. The Denver Broncos face off against the Carolina Panthers with kickoff scheduled for 6:30-ish p.m. on the East Coast and 3:30 p.m California time.

Tens of thousands of people arrived at Super Bowl City in San Francisco on Saturday prompting officials to close the gates to the city as the venue filled to capacity. The gates opened once again at 11 a.m. PT on Sunday. Bay Area Rapid Transit, the region’s public transport network, saw its busiest weekend ridership day ever on Saturday with 419,162 riders.
The big game will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Fans began arriving as early as 9 a.m. Temperatures in the Bay Area will be treat with highs in the mid-60s to lower 70s. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows around 50 degrees.
Super Bowl coverage began on CBS at 8 a.m. PT/11 p.m. ET. The Super Bowl is streaming live on CBS.
Lady Gaga will sing the National Anthem, joined by Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin, who will perform the song in American Sign Language. Coldplay and Beyonce will perform at the halftime show. And in true Beyonce fashion, just a day before the game, she dropped a surprise new single, Formation, that already has fans drooling.
