1. California gas prices hit new record. Here's how much you'll pay in Fresno County (fresnobee.com) — Fresno drivers are now paying some of the highest gas prices in California, with regular averaging about $6.39 per gallon across the metro area. The story breaks down how quickly prices have climbed, compares them to last year, and highlights several Fresno County stations currently charging below the local average so you can hunt for cheaper fuel.

Flix Bus Service Launches Service Between Fresno and Las Vegas (kmjnow.com) — Starting October 1, Fresno residents will have a new direct FlixBus route to Las Vegas, with a local stop on Tulare Street downtown. A Fresno County pest control company says fuel costs are forcing them to consider raising rates and rethink scheduling and expenses, signaling possible higher service prices for residents if prices keep climbing.
