Fullerton Man Arrested After Alleged Kidnapping (hoodline.com) — Fullerton police arrested a 42-year-old man after an alleged violent confrontation that began in Anaheim, continued toward the Fullerton station, and ended with a kidnapping and brief 57 Freeway shutdown. The suspect was later found in Newport Beach and booked into Fullerton City Jail on multiple serious charges as detectives continue investigating and seek tips from the public.
   

3. Suspect Detained Following Attempted Bank Robbery in Fullerton (crimevoice.com) — Fullerton police arrested a Los Angeles man after an attempted bank robbery on North Harbor Boulevard, where no money was taken and no injuries were reported. Officers quickly located the suspect nearby and booked him into the Fullerton Jail on a felony attempted robbery charge, according to a police press release.

CSUF Students Use AI to Train a Robotic Dog for Real-World Applications (fullerton.edu) — Students at Cal State Fullerton are training an AI-powered robotic dog to handle automated home inspections, potentially helping local renters and property owners. The senior capstone team is working in CSUF’s engineering program, gaining hands-on robotics and AI skills while preparing to showcase their project at the 2026 ECS Student Project Innovation Expo.
