• Sacramento-area police departments to launch Blue Envelope Program for vulnerable community members (kcra.com) — Galt residents with autism, dementia, anxiety, or other conditions will soon be able to use a free Blue Envelope or branded items to signal officers they may need extra time or support. Galt police are joining other Sacramento-area departments in offering these visual cues, which can hold ID and emergency information to reduce misunderstandings during traffic stops or emergencies.
