Like many of us, you may be rediscovering your creativity and craving community after a long period of isolation. Art and human connection can be deeply healing: studies show that creative practices like mandala painting can reduce stress and pain, lower blood pressure, improve sleep, ease depression, and even support immune function.
Join Sonserae Leese, Executive Director of Sophie’s Dream — a nonprofit that helps people heal from trauma and PTSD through the arts — for a restorative mandala painting workshop. Sonserae brings over 25 years of experience as an artist in the film industry (Walt Disney Studios, Sony, Nickelodeon) and personal experience of healing from trauma. She teaches drawing and painting techniques while offering gentle, practical suggestions for moving through sadness, avoiding stuckness, and setting small, positive goals for the future.
This hands-on class supplies everything you need to create colorful mandala stones: dotting tools, brushes, pattern guides, paints, and rocks. All materials are included so you can continue painting at home after the session.

Searchers' Gem and Mineral Society (<a href="https://searchersrocks.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">searchersrocks.org</a>) dazzles with its&nbsp;65th Annual Show at the Anaheim Brookhurst Community Center. Forty-one dealers display the best in rocks, minerals, and jewelry. A Silent Auction every half hour featuring slabs, opals, crystals and lapidary equipment. Faceting and rock polishing demonstrations, celebrities, and hundreds of door prizes given away over the two-day event. Free entry, free parking, and free children’s activities.

My name is Audrey Rodriguez and I am the secretary for Garden Grove Pony baseball and the team mom for the Garden Grove Cyclones 12U Select baseball team located in Garden Grove, Ca. We need your help.&nbsp; We are led by our manager Mike Anderson, and assistant coaches Owen Galasso, Adam Rodriguez, and JR Johnson. Our team has the esteemed honor of representing Garden Grove at the Cooperstown All-Star village baseball tournament in New York this summer. There is a lot of publicity for the Little League World Series however many people don’t realize there is a huge tournament for pony league&nbsp;Select teams and travel baseball teams in Cooperstown, New York. This is a huge tournament with over 100 teams competing for the championship. Tournament cost alone for coaches and players is approximately $28,000.We have been raising funds all year and we are very close to our goal, but we still need funds to help pay for travel costs. We are proud to represent Southern California, Orange County, and Garden Grove in this once in a lifetime tournament for 12 year old baseball players. Here is our go fund me.
