Gilroy Earthquakes Rattle South Bay, Santa Cruz County
The quakes were reported early Tuesday morning. Did YOU feel them?
GILROY, CA — Two earthquakes struck near Gilroy overnight. A magnitude 3.6 earthquake hit at 4:38 a.m. followed by a magnitude-2.6, which shook the area at about 4:44 a.m.
The first quake was felt in Gilroy, Hollister and as far away as Santa Cruz County, Fremont and San Jose. No injuries were reported as a result of the quakes.
