Create a Video-Based Valentine's Day Card at CMAP for Someone You Love
Create a video Valentine's Day for your best friend or someone you admire! Fun for the whole family at CMAP this weekend!

Cards and flowers don't always express the way you feel about the one you love, and sappy Valentine’s Day Cards aren’t the most romantic way to communicate your feelings either. That’s why Community Media Access Partnership (CMAP) is offering a Valentine's Day card-making workshop that allows you to tell loved ones exactly how you feel straight from your mouth.
The donation-based workshop allows you to send a special message to loved ones via video, and will take place this Saturday at CMAP’s television studio located at Gavilan College.
CMAP staff will videotape your message, complete with a delightful Valentine's Day background, by using the green screen in the TV studio.
Staff will coach you on the best messaging techniques and about being on camera, and you're welcome to bring any props you wish.
Each video will be distributed on cable TV and online, and each participant will receive a DVD copy of their video message, as well as the online link to share via email or social networks.
It’s a unique Valentine’s Day gift that mothers, teachers, grandmas, spouses and friends would enjoy. And CMAP promises that you'll have a blast making the video—it may even be a Valentine's Day you'll never forget!
All content must be PG13, and be appropriate to show on CMAP's public access cable channels.
Come join us for all the fun this Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the CMAP studio, located in the library complex at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd.
