Dance-Off With Gilroy Police At National Night Out
The Gilroy Police Department's fourth annual National Night Out event will include dance-off competitions for children and adults.

GILROY, CA -- The Gilroy Police Department announced this week that it is hosting its fourth annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 1 in downtown Gilroy.
The festival-like event designed to encourage community members to get to know their local law enforcement will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Fifth Street, between Eigleberry Street and Monterey Road. There, residents can check out vehicle displays; take photos with officers, K9s and mounted patrol; and participate in dance-offs to songs including Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
Music will be played by a deejay and family-friendly activities such as games, raffles, bounce houses, crafts and face-painting will be offered.
