Did You Feel the Magnitude 4.2 Earthquake, Gilroy?
The temblor was reported Tuesday afternoon.

RIDGEMARK, CA— A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck near Ridgemark Tuesday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported at 2:38 p.m.
The quake hit about eight miles outside of Ridgemark and about 20 miles from Gilroy. No injuries were reported as a result of the temblor.
A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck near the San Luis Reservoir early Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. That quake was felt as far away as Morgan Hill.

USGS officials say the earthquakes are part of a swarm of small quakes recorded in the area over the past few days.
