MORGAN HILL, CA— A magnitude 2.9 earthquake struck the hills of the Diablo Range near Morgan Hill, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported at 10:57 p.m. Monday.
The quake was felt in Morgan Hill and Gilroy as far away as Santa Cruz and San Jose. No injuries were reported as a result of the quake.
