
Let's talk about wildlands, food and your health
Join Greenbelt Alliance on Saturday, June 16 for a community conversation about healthy living and South County’s rural landscapes. The event will be followed by a free, local, and healthy lunch hosted and provided by the Gilroy Demonstration Garden.
Through the conversation and community exercises we will explore:

- providing everyone with access to local and affordable food
- protecting and maintaining natural landscapes for their benefits to our health and our environment
- providing everyone with access to a variety of high-quality parks and recreational opportunities
- placing homes close to stores, jobs, schools, and recreation areas
Take advantage of this early opportunity to provide input into Santa Clara County’s development of a health element in the General Plan, the blueprint for growth and preservation over the next few decades.
