Get Out in Gilroy:March of Dimes, Spaghetti, and Art Galore

Why Go: Support the women's volleyball team at Gavilan College by attending the first of what will be an annual event. Spaghetti, of course, with wine, beer and raffle tickets also available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the upcoming Gavilan College Women’s Volleyball Season.

Why Go: Show your support for the March of Dimes,   the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. Registration for the five-mile Gilroy walk is at 8 a.m. and the walk/run itself begins at 9 a.m.

Where/When: Downtown Gilroy, Saturday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Why Go: The Gilroy Downtown Association and several businesses from the downtown community have partnered with regional wineries for this year’s Art & Wine stroll. Take a stroll through downtown and enjoy local wines, art, entertainment and shopping. Follow the link for a map: tickets are available at all participating businesses, and don’t forget your I.D.!
