Looking for something to do around town this weekend? Well, look no further because Patch has done the research, and compiled a list of five fun things to do around town over the weekend.

Quilt Show at the Gilroy Center for the Arts

When/Where: The Gilroy Center for the Arts, located at 7341 Monterey St. Ongoing through Feb. 22. Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m.

Why Go: Look at quilted creations made by local residents. Attendees can view the quits through Feb. 22. On Saturday, Feb. 4, there will also be a reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

Price: Free.

Open Mic at 9Lives

When/Where: At 9Lives, located at 7430 Monterey St. at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Why Go: Grab your instruments, get on stage and perform! Or, if you're the shyer type, watch others perform. For more information email bookings@ninelivesclub.com.

Price: Free.

Texas Hold'em Tournament at the Gilroy Senior Center

When/Where: Saturday, Jan. 4 at the Gilroy Senior Center, located at 7371 Hanna Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: To have fun with family and friends. Attendees play Texas Hold'em in teams of four and everyone who's 18 and older can attend. For more information, call (408) 846-0460.

Price: $60 for a four-person team, limit of 27 teams.

Guided Tour of the Gilroy Hot Springs

When/Where: On Gilroy Hot Springs Road on Saturday at 10 a.m. Attendees meet by the locked bridge. Reservations are required. Call (408) 314-7185 for reservations and for more information.

Why Go: Enjoy nature and see some land marks while learning about the hot springs. Tours are one-to-thee hours long depending on the guide and number of people.

Price: Minimum of $10 per person.

Super Bowl Party at Station 55

When/Where: Station 55, located at 55 5th St. on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Watch the Giants and Patriots compete on the field. There will be raffle items and drink specials. There will also be a potluck, so be sure to bring a dish to share with your fellow Gilroyans. There will be family karaoke with Jr. Diaz after the game.

Price: Free to attend.
