Gilroy Cops Seeking Those Behind Shooting Of Man Last Week
The 21 year old was shot early Wednesday on Chestnut Street by suspects in a tan car.

Gilroy police were called this week to Chestnut Street for the shooting of a 21-year-old Gilroy man, and are seeking the suspects responsible.

The victim was found suffering from a single gunshot wound to the lower body, and was transported to an area trauma center with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to survive, according to officers, who answered the Wednesday call at 1:44 a.m. on the 7300 block of Chestnut.
Three male suspects fled the scene in an unknown make and model of a tan sedan, and the motive for this shooting is unknown, police said.
