Gilroy Man Killed In Solo-Car Crash Tuesday Night
The accident was on Miller Avenue, about a mile north of Gavilan College, police said.

A 28-year-old Gilroy man was killed when his SUV crashed in Gilroy on Tuesday night, a police sergeant said today.
Officers responded to a report of a solo car crash in the 6300 block of Miller Avenue, about a mile north of Gavilan College, around 10:15 p.m., Gilroy police Sgt. Pedro Espinoza.
Arriving officers found a GMC Yukon crashed into a tree and the driver was unresponsive and suffering from major injuries, Espinoza said.

Emergency crews rendered aid to him but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Espinoza.
The driver was the sole occupant of the car, police said. He was identified today as Gilroy resident Jack E. Adams, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.
