Update: Major Power Outage in Gilroy
PG&E reported that more than 1,700 customers were without power at the height of the outage.

GILROY, CA — PG&E reports that less than 100 customers have lost power in Gilroy. Earlier the number was 1,730.
The outage began just after 3:30 p.m.
While the power company has not revealed the cause of the outage, PG&E estimates at power will be fully restored at 6:45 p.m.

The outage area is irregular but runs roughly from 10th Street on the north to Mesa Road at Highway 101 on the south. West to east the outage runs from the junction of Miller Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard, to 101 and East Luchessa Avenue.
