Why Go: See what the Gavilan College Theater Department can do. This play is a classic and one that is bound to leave you laughing. You may find out that a funny thing happened on the way to the theater, too.

Why Go: This free workshop will offer you some excellent tips for mind-body wellness. You will learn how to eliminate stress with breathing techniques and meditation.  Calmness, clarity, all good things and useful in dealing with the high-stress world we all live in today.

Where/When: 7050 Miller Ave, Gilroy, CA 95020 (Uvas Creek Levee/Christmas Hill Park)

Why Go: Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are having a volunteer day and working with the Gilroy Facilities/ Parks and Recreation Departments in weed removal, painting, spreading of bark, tree and bush trimming of the Levee along the park.  You can join in and help out, too.

Why Go:  Enjoy the sound of Spain with this family flamenco night. Tablao Flamenco and Feria de Abril will be performing. Enjoy the dancing, enjoy the music and for a few hours, have a mental getaway in Espana!

Why Go: You might have seen this on our planner last weekend. The mayor had to reschedule and it's happening this Saturday. This is your chance to chat with the mayor in an informal setting and share your concerns about city issues and hear the mayor's perspective as well. And you get a free cup of coffee, too!
