MEETING PREVIEW: City's Bicycle Pedestrian Commission to Discuss Bike Racks for New Library
Also on Tuesday's agenda, commission to consider next steps for national award, release 2012 schedule.

The Gilroy Bicycle Pedestrian Commission will look at a report tonight at 7 p.m. from city staff regarding new bike racks that will be built with the new library at 7351 Rosanna St.
Also, the commission will receive a recommendation from staff for the next steps in order for the city to apply for the League of American Bicyclists award. One of the suggestions is to ask the mayor and City Council to proclaim May 2012 as "National Bike Month."
Staff will also release the 2012 meeting and special event schedule for the commission.
