'Missing Kennedy' Author To Visit Saratoga, Gilroy Libraries For Book Signings

Elizabeth Koehler-Pentacoff's book offers rare look into life of Rosemary Kennedy.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – Join well-known author and memoirist, Elizabeth Koehler-Pentacoff and listen as she speaks about her latest book. The Missing Kennedy, in two events hosted by the Santa Clara County Library District.

In The Missing Kennedy, Koehler-Pentacoff shares memories of Rosemary Kennedy, the younger sister of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and the life she lived following a failed experimental medical procedure in 1941 at the age of 23.

The book offers a rare look into Rosemary’s life through insights by the author’s Aunt Stella Koehler who also happened to be Rosemary’s main caregiver for more than 35 years. The book features numerous photos of Rosemary and the famous Kennedy family.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Koehler-Pentacoff moved to California to attend the California State University Fresno where she studied Children’s Theater and Elementary Education.

Upon graduation, Koehler-Pentacoff taught at the elementary and middle school levels before moving on to teaching older students. She taught for 10 years at the California State University of Hayward’s East Bay Extension as well as the University of California Santa Cruz Extension. Presently, she offers author assemblies and classroom writing workshops at elementary and middle schools and currently is Chair of the California Writers Club Young Writers Program.

She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their pet Yorkshire terrier, Zoie. In addition to The Missing Kennedy, Koehler-Pentacoff has authored 9 additional books, both fiction and non-fiction.
