More Feasting this Weekend as You Get Out in and Around Gilroy

A BBQ Cookoff with 50 different kinds of barbecue or barbeque or BBQ to choose from; a couple of fundraisers featuring either crab cioppino or music under the stars, a garden tour and a senior film festival round things out this Mothers Day weekend.

Where/When:Β  17000 Monterey St, Morgan Hill, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Why Go: If you have any fondness for BBQ or barbeque or barbecue (all correct ways to refer to BBQ, too) you shouldn't miss this.Β  A cookoff with all different kids and styles of BBQ. And you, the customer, the festival goer, can get to sample it all. Music, too. There will be more than 40 BBQ competitors there from all over the West Coast. (Though I can't resist, where's Kansas City in this or Georgia or Florida or South Carolina?)Β  Oh, it pains the author not to be there.
