Stay Cool, Gilroy! Heat Advisory Issued
The calendar doesn't say summer, but the thermometer does. Plan ahead to keep everyone safe!

National Weather Service officials have issued a heat advisory for part of Monday for all inland areas of the San Francisco and Monterey Bay regions, including the Santa Clara Valley, NWS officials said.
Forecasters said the advisory starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. with highs in the mid 80s, mid 90s and lower 100s in spots.
Monday will feel particularly warm because temperatures recently have been cooler than normal, forecasters said. An advisory means that forecasters expect hot temperatures and the combination of heat and humidity can cause heat illnesses, such as heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
