Vegetation Fire Leads To Evacuations In Gilroy Area
Multiple structures threatened, according to officials.

GILROY. CA – Crews are at the scene of a fast-moving vegetation fire that led to evacuations and is threatening multiple structures this evening in the Highway 152 area west of Gilroy, according to news reports.
The fire burned 5 acres and prompted evacuations from Farmer to Hecker Pass roads, NBC Bay Area said, adding that evacuees were being directed to Bonfonte Gardens.
The California Highway Patrol shut down Highway 152 at Redwood Retreat Road, reports said.
