Wanted Man Hides Out In Morgan Hill Home
Neighbors on the street were to either evacuate or shelter in place during arrest.

A wanted felon was arrested early this morning after hiding in a Morgan Hill home since Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The suspect, a 24-year-old man, was wanted on multiple felony warrants and has been booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail, according to police. His name has not been released.
Around 1 p.m. Tuesday, officers were informed of a wanted felon who was possibly hiding in the 100 block of Manor Court near Del Monte Avenue, police said. The officers were able to track down the felon, who was at a friend’s home, according to police.

Residents at the home spoke with officers and agreed to leave the home as a precaution, police said. People in surrounding homes were also evacuated and other neighbors were advised to shelter in place, according to police. Officers worked to communicate with the man throughout the night.
As of 1 a.m. today, he was arrested and booked into jail, police said.
