GILROY - It’s the easiest sale on the planet.

As you walk into a store, the little 7-year-old girl at the sidewalk cardtable looks up at you with her big brown eyes and sheepishly asks “Would you like to buy some cookies?”

You melt.

Before you can say Toffee-tastic, your wallet is out, and open, and suddenly, has a bit less value.

Girl Scout cookie sales in the Gilroy area begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, at the Walmart, 7150 Camino Arroyo.

It’s Gilroy’s turn to ponder your pucker betwixt some Do-si-dos (aka Peanut Butter Sandwich) or Tagalongs (aka Peanut Butter Patties).
