• House Passes Bill to Name Glendale Post Office After Glendale-born Paul Ignatius (2urbangirls.com) — A Glendale post office on San Fernando Road is a step closer to being renamed in honor of Glendale-born former Navy Secretary Paul Ignatius after the U.S. House passed a bipartisan bill. The measure, led locally by Rep. Laura Friedman and in the Senate by Sen. Schiff, would recognize Ignatius’ long military and public service career and deep roots in Glendale’s Armenian community.
   

• Developer revises proposal for apartments at 4728 San Fernando Rd. in Glendale (urbanize.city) — A revised proposal could bring a seven-story, 229-unit apartment building with 27 affordable units to 4728 San Fernando Road near the Los Angeles River in Glendale’s Pacific-Edison area. The Glendale-based ownership group is seeking density bonuses for extra height and smaller units, along with parking for 281 vehicles in an above-grade garage.
