Brooklin Carri, a 9 year old resident of Glendora, is working towards collecting 1000 donated books for ages k-4th grade for the African Book Project.
She has collected 850 books and picks up more every week from her various doantion boxes, freinds, family, and strangers.
April 15th she will package them up and send them to Ghana Africa where a small newly opened library in a remote school will be able to fill thier shelves with the books she has been collecting since january 4.

I thought giving her some recognition for caring that kids all over the world get a chance to read a great book daily, like she does, receive the books they need.
