As part of the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, crews recently installed a Southern California Edison vault and still need to complete the roadway and curb work on West Ada Ave. (north of the railroad crossing and between Vermont Ave. and Glendora Ave.). This work began after the reopening of Vermont Ave. railroad crossing on September 25 and will continue thru October 29th.
ELWOOD AVE - Thru October 25th, 2021 (extended 7 days). DOWNLOAD THE OFFICIAL CLOSURE NOTICE.

As a follow-up to the Elwood Ave. railroad crossing reconstruction for the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, crews will be completing sidewalk construction, rebuilding the catch basins, building the retaining curbs, and installing street lighting on Elwood Ave. This work requires a full closure of Elwood Ave. at the railroad crossing and due to the need for more time to complete the street lighting work, the closure needs to be extended one additional week.
