Children often find it intimidating to read aloud in front of classmates. Founded in 2007, BARK is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs in a no-pressure setting.
Dogs are great reading buddies, and Tina is no exception. Bring a story you would like to practice reading to Tina and join us on ZOOM every other week for a reading time just for you and Tina. Only one child or family will be reading to Tina at a time.
