Glendora City Council Re-Organization

Council Member David Fredendall has been a resident of Glendora for over 34 years and is a sixth generation Glendoran.

On April 14th, the results of the March 3, 2020 Municipal Election were adopted, and the administration of the oath of office was held for re-elected Councilmember Gary Boyer for District 3, and Councilmember Mendell Thompson for District 5. Councilmembers and staff also welcomed Councilmember David Fredendall, newly elected in District 2. n

Council Member David Fredendall has been a resident of Glendora for over 34 years and is a sixth generation Glendoran. As an active member of the community, he is committed to youth development and service for tomorrow’s leaders and regularly volunteers his time to youth programs including Boy Scouts where he has served in local, District and some Council area capacities for more than 22 years.

Additionally, the reorganization of City Council and selection of Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem were conducted. Congratulations to new Mayor Michael Allawos, and to Mayor Pro-Tem Karen Davis.

Outgoing Mayor Judy Nelson said goodbye after nearly a decade on the Council, and was congratulated by the Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem, Councilmembers, City staff and Nelson family members during the physically distanced meeting held via Zoom.
