The weather is changing, and the heat of summer will be here before we know it. Remember right now we’re all safer at home due to COVID-19, but it will difficult not to enjoy a perfect Southern California day. Here are a few things to remember when it’s hot outside:

  • Plan your errands or walks for the cooler parts of the day
  • Wear lightweight, light colored clothing
  • Be sure to drink plenty of water
  • Do not leave children or pets in cars
  • Check on elderly neighbors, family, and friends
  • And avoid working out with masks on

Also, please remember we’re still under the LA County Public Health Safer At Home Order until at least May 15th, and should only be out in public for essential needs or work. Here are five ways to help stay safe if you do have to go in public;
