A motorcyclist was taken by rescue helicopter to an area trauma center after receiving injuries in a crash on Glendora Mountain Road, Friday afternoon.
The rider's injuries were not immediately known.
The crash was reported just after 12 p.m. on Glendora Mountain Road about a mile and a half north of Sierra Madre Avenue, said an official with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The rider was transported by ground to Foothill Presbyterian Hospital where the rescue copter then transported the trauma victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, according to scanner reports.
County/USC was closed to trauma patients, but no indication as to why was given.
