Monica Pier for the 4th annual Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race & Ocean
Festival presented by Tommy Bahama. Hundreds of competitors are expected to
attend, including some of the sport's most elite athletes who will battle it
out in two new events this year, the 5.5 mile Elite Race and the Tommy Bahama
Team Challenge SUP Relay Cup.
The event is free for spectators and fun for
the whole family. Besides the races, there will be beach games and races for
the kids, a lifeguard and surf history pop-up museum - plus live music and hula
dancers performing throughout the day. Adults can cool off with a drink from
the Tommy Bahama Rum Lounge or the Sierra Nevada Beer Garden.
