The Village Vault: Banking on Brunch

Head to The Village Vault for the hometown atmosphere.

Looking for a comfortable brunch-time eatery with a hometown feel? Housed in a former bank, the Village Vault is one of Glendora’s favorite downtown diners.

The Village Vault – Strolling down the Glendora Village, you have an array of restaurants and eateries to choose from. One of them is the Village Vault, a restaurant serving some of your home-cooked favorites with a little historical ambience. Once the city bank, a giant vault in the rear of the dining room still remains for all to see. Even some of their entrees are named in tribute of the building’s banking days – such as The Banker, a hot sourdough sandwich with roast beef, swiss cheese, onions and a side of aujus dipping sauce ($7.50). The clam chowder was thick, hearty and delicious. Although the restaurant is open in the evenings, breakfast, brunch and lunch are always popular -- especially for their omelettes, pancakes and waffles. Dine in or at sidewalk tables.
