• Fire Erupts In Homeless Encampment Along Highway 74 (patch.com) — A brush fire broke out Monday afternoon in a homeless encampment along Highway 74 at Dockery Lane in Good Hope, burning nearly two acres and briefly threatening the roadway. Fire crews quickly slowed the flames and stopped their spread within about 20 minutes, avoiding injuries and highway closure while investigators worked to determine how the blaze started.
