2. Public Comment & Announcements (Members of the public may speak up to 3 minutes on any topic not on the agenda. Please fill out a speaker slip. The Council may not discuss or take action on items not on the agenda.)

3. Consent Agenda (Items generally approved as a group without discussion, unless requested to be moved to Regular Agenda for discussion)

a. Approve Minutes for July 22, 2015
4. Regular Agenda – The Council may take action on the following items:
a. (7:15) Presentation on Short Term Rental Ordinance – Jennifer Krasky, Deputy County Counsel. Presentation on issues and possible solutions for a short term rental ordinance. Short term rentals are rentals of less than 30 days, often referred to as vacation rentals. The presentation can be downloaded from http://www.midcoastcommunitycouncil.org/short-term-rental-ordinance

Desired outcome: Inform the community about the issue, hear community comments, and discuss the proposed ordinance.

b. (8:45) After-the-fact Use Permit Amendment and Design Review Permit for La Costanera restaurant - (Ketcham). The Use Permit Amendment is to allow use of two outdoor patios while maintaining the same number of seats (189) at the restaurant. CDP for the patios is under permit authority of the Coastal Commission. Negative Declaration was prepared under PLN2006-00494.

Desired outcome: MCC will approve comments to staff on the permit application referral.
