Volunteers needed at Half Moon Bay State Beach for Earth Day projects.

Volunteers are needed at Half Moon Bay State Beach and other parks across the state on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm, for the California State Parks Foundation’s 17th Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup presented by Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

Projects include non-native plant removal at Dunes Beach, building animal resistant trash and recycling bins, beach cleanup and more.

Individuals, groups or businesses interested in volunteering should register at http://calparks.org/earthday or call 1-888-98-PARKS. Registration opens March 2015.
