Community Input Needed On Half Moon Bay's ADA Transition Plan

The city is hoping to hear from you!

From The ADA: The City's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan is a comprehensive plan for improving access for individuals with disabilities to City facilities, parks, programs, services, activities, and events. By creating and implementing the Transition Plan, consistent with the ADA, City services and facilities will become more comfortable, welcoming, and accessible for all.

Your input is needed! The City is seeking input from individuals with disabilities as well as patrons, caregivers, organizations, and agencies that support individuals with disabilities, as well as from interested individuals with experience in accessibility needs and best practices.

  • The City has scheduled a meeting to gather additional input on the accessibility of City services, programs, and facilities, and your participation is encouraged. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 2018, 1 - 3 pm, Half Moon Bay Library, 620 Correas Street.

If for any reason these input options do not suit you, or for more information about accessibility or the ADA Transition Plan, please contact Half Moon Bay's ADA coordinator:
