Savvy Skirts, meaning smart women, was created as an online gift-basket service by Olson and her life-long friend Shelly Clayborn in 2004. The two friends were looking for a way to honor the memory of their friend Vicki Meier Oberleitner, whom they lost to lymphoma in late 2003. “Vicki was the girlie-girl out of all of us, the one who could out-Martha Martha Stewart,” Olson said. “She was a beautiful perfectionist.” Part of the proceeds from one of Savvy Skirts’ products, the Girl Basket®, goes to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. “Life is short. Our mission is to support women’s purposeful and passionate projects, which shows when you browse our product selection.  Savvy Skirts offers some functionally fabulous gifts and accessories made for women by women.”

Join Savvy Skirts this Thursday and every Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm.
