#GIVINGTUESDAY

The HEAL Project has joined #GivingTuesday, a worldwide effort designed to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. The post-Thanksgiving Holiday is the typical kickoff of the holiday shopping season, and #GivingTuesday is designed to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and give back in better and smarter ways to the charities and causes they support.

This year, December 2, 2014 -- the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – is #GivingTuesday. The HEAL Project has created three different ways for you to give. You can make a donation online, volunteer at The San Mateo County School Farm, or dine out at a local participating restaurant on that day and the restaurants will be giving back a percentage of their sales. We thank our partnering restaurants: Café Capistrano, Café Classique, HMB Brewing Co., HMB Coffee Co., It’s Italia, Montara Café & Bakery and Sam’s Chowderhouse.
