Half Moon Bay To Host Community Meeting: Poplar Street Traffic Calming & Safety Project

The community is invited to attend and learn more about the City's efforts to enhance safety, promote traffic calming, and preserve the environmental resources along Poplar Street between Main Street. and Railroad Avenue.

The agenda will include:

• Available funding and project overview
• Results of the Community Survey
• Poplar Street existing conditions
• Toolbox to Enhance Poplar Street

The City, in conjunction with our project consultant CSW|ST2, is working diligently to collect data for the project to ensure we have gathered enough information for the design phase. To date, existing traffic and tree inventory information has been gathered. As the consultant continues to collect data on the project, residents and visitors can expect to see employees in reflective safety attire around Poplar Street. This information will help shape the design as the project moves forward.
