Half Moon Bay State of the City Address Set For Dec. 12

From HMB City:Mayor Deborah Penrose and the City Council of Half Moon Bay invite the community to join them for the annual State of the City Address on December 12.

The people of Half Moon Bay are encouraged to join with friends, neighbors, and other interested and involved community members for the fourth annual Half Moon Bay State of the City Address. The Mayor's address will offer an overview of the City's recent accomplishments in a variety of areas, from infrastructure, finances, and parks, to housing, healthy communities, public safety, and more.
"As we reach the end of 2018, it's an appropriate time for us to look back on the year, share and celebrate our successes, and underscore our ongoing challenges," said Mayor Penrose. "We should all be excited and proud of everything we were able to accomplish this year - I look forward to having many community members join us for the State of the City."
Each year the Mayor presents Half Moon Bay's State of the City Address, as a means of engaging and sharing information with the community, maintaining a transparent style of government, and bringing people together as part of the partnerships which make for a successful community. The Address will be followed by refreshments, and attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy conversations with their City Council members and fellow community members.
Located 28 miles south of San Francisco, the City of Half Moon Bay is a community of about 12,500 people, situated on the peninsula between forested hills and some of the most beautiful coastlines that California has to offer.
