HMB Main Street To Be Closed Nightly For At Least 10 Days

This project will replace cracked, settled portions of pavement from the 300 through 600 blocks of Main Street.

From The City of Half Moon Bay: Important information about the Main Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project. This project will replace cracked, settled portions of pavement from the 300 through 600 blocks of Main Street, between Main Street Bridge and Correas Street.

This project begins the evening of Sunday, October 1, and is expected to be completed no later than October 12, thus avoiding any conflict with the Pumpkin Festival. Work will begin at the 300 block and move toward the 600 block. (Weather Permitting)

  • Work will be performed at night from 10 pm to 5 am
  • No Parking at Main Street 10 PM to 5 AM
  • Main Street will be closed during construction hours
  • During the day streets will be open and usable
  • Detours will be marked with signage
  • The result will be a refreshed, repaired roadway - an improvement for all who drive, walk, bicycle or work along that portion of Main Street

The City apologizes for any inconvenience - please use extra caution when using these streets as a driver, bicyclists, or pedestrian.
