Man 'Inappropriately' Touches Girl, 14, In Half Moon Bay: Police
Sheriff's officials are asking for help finding the man who allegedly assaulted the young girl while she was out walking her dog.

HALF MOON BAY, CA — San Mateo County sheriff's officials are asking for the public's help finding a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a teen girl as she was walking her dog in Half Moon Bay.
The incident happened on Saturday, June 30 sometime between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., according to sheriff's Det. Rosemerry Blankswade. The girl was with her dog in the Pillar Point Boat Launch Ramp parking lot in Half Moon Bay when the incident occurred.
"An unknown male subject approached the juvenile and inappropriately touched her," Blankswade said. "The juvenile was able to defend herself and she fled the area."

The case was not immediately reported to officials but authorities said they met with the girl on Tuesday to get the following suspect description:
A White male adult in his forties, 5’09”, chubby to medium build, brown hair (full head of hair), brown beard (short and shaggy), wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt and jeans, overall he was described as dirty.
