Meet. Nest. Shop.

We are a women's contemporary boutique,  that recently opened on Main Street that features a carefully curated selection of women’s apparel, jewelry, accessories and bath products as well as locally-sourced or produced specialty items. Our philosophy is to provide an exciting yet comfortable shopping experience in an environment that always feels welcoming.

Owner, Dena Denniston, is a Bay Area native who was born in San Francisco and grew up in Redwood City. The store is named in honor of her late best friend, Christine Marent, who died of breast cancer in 2012.

The two childhood friends were planning to open a boutique together when Christine became ill. “In high school, we would save our money and when we had barely enough to buy an article of clothing we would ride our bikes to Hillsdale Mall in search of the perfect item. On more than one occasion, we ended up with the same purchase,” said Dena. Encouraged by family and friends, she moved forward with a business plan, inspired by Christine’s tendency to dream big, think unconventionally and have fun along the way. Dena named the boutique Crow’s Nest because, “Christine was an artist who found beauty in everyone and everything, even crows.”

We believe shopping should always have an element of joy and we strive to be a place where women meet friends, make themselves at home and take a fashion leap to be their stylish best. Guests are encouraged to browse, try on clothes and play with the accessories. Or, to simply come in, relax on the family-style sofa and have a refreshing beverage.

Stay tuned for more updates on our collections, events and all things fashion.
